What is Sports and Remedial Massage?

Sports and Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy is a manual and rehabilitation therapy used to prevent and treat sporting or other injuries that can often be associated with bad posture and muscle imbalance. It can be used to reduce muscle pain and relieve general aches and discomfort caused by repetitive physical and mental strains and stresses. Soft tissue therapy involves assisted stretching techniques and hands on manipulation of muscles and fascia. Healthy muscles are essential in order to undertake activities effectively or to simply maintain correct posture.
